This innovative Institute will concentrate all existing nanochemistry expertise in Western Australia into a critical mass of expertise, equipment and facilities by integrating the nanochemistry work being carried out by participants at the following locations:

• Curtin University of Technology
  • Nanochemistry Research Institute
  • Department of Applied Chemistry
• The University of Western Australia
  • Center for Strategic Nanofabrication
  • School of Chemical and Biomedical Sciences
  • Department of Physics
• Murdoch University
  • School of Mathematical and Physical Sciences

In addition, the proposed Institute will collaborate with a range of already established Centres of Excellence and Cooperative Research Centres including:

• The State Agricultural Biotechnology Centre at Murdoch University
• The McCusker Foundation for Alzheimer’s Disease Research
• Department of Biomaterials, Royal Perth Hospital
• Department of Medical Imaging, Charles Gardiner Hospital
• Parker Cooperative Research Centre for Integrated Hydrometallurgy Solutions
